About the Show
Every Sunday morning Linda Posner and her daughter Pearl Merril bring us Word Buffet, poems and stories to nourish our day. Each week has a theme, sometimes whimsical, sometimes serious, but always enlightening and entertaining as mother and daughter take turns reciting and commenting on the quotations and poems that are the heart of the show. In the last few minutes, the two share an improvisational poem they have created for the occasion. Word Buffet airs at 10 AM Sundays, with a replay at 9 AM Wednesdays.
